You have questions, I have answers

  • What services do you provide?
I provide three main categories of services: Mixing, Mastering and Audio Post Production. The first two are mainly aimed at the music industry, while the last one is geared towards the TV, Film Industry and Online Content. Click on each tab to find out more about the services.
  • Do you keep a backup of my project?
Yes! I always backup the projects. Each project is copied onto two separate hard disks in order to prevent the failure of one. There is not expiration time with the projects since I will keep them indefinitely.
  • What is the turn around for a project?
It usually depends on the service I am providing. Turnaround for mixing is usually 48 hours. Mastering a single EP with a few tracks is usually done within 24 hours. For mastering or mixing a full album, it will depend a lot on the schedule at hand. We can discuss it and accomodate the sessions in order to get the best result in reasonable time. Comunication is key!
  • Can I attend a session?
I am afraid the answer is no. Most of the projects are time sensitive and I have to meet the delivery deadlines. It's a good to attend a session when I am in the final stages with an album or film project. A second input with the material at hand is helpful cause the client can listen and approve the final mix.
  • How much is the cost of mixing a single?
You can find all the necessary informations on pricing for mixing here.
  • How much is the cost of a master?
You can find all the information needed about mastering prices here.
  • How abour recurring clients? Do we get discounts too?
Of course! I will give you a personal offer upon our next project!
  • What format should my files be in?
Wether it's a mixing project or a mastering project the one main thing I need you to follow is this one: Always export at the sample rate of your project and at 32 bit depth. If your project is at 48kHz, then export at that 48kHz. Do NOT upsample it, or downsample it! Aways export at the project's sample rate! If it's a project for audio post production instead then please contact me before exporting, because there are multiple steps involved in an export from video to audio.
  • What should my submitted files look like?
If it’s for a mix project, then please supply me with mono or stereo files, properly labeled and without clipping. The multitracks of a mix need to be consolidated or bounced from the start point of your song till the end. All files must be of the same duration, sample rate and bit depth. Do double check your audio files before that they are the correct placement and length. For more details check the submission guide I wrote. If it’s for a stem mastering project, then make sure the stems are consolidated from the start point of your song till the end. All files must be of the same duration, sample rate and bit depth. Please label them accordingly and make sure they are the correct placement and length. For more details check the submission guide I wrote.
  • Do you accept DAW sessions?
Yes, I accept ProTools and Wavelab sessions.
